Neural Network Based Edge Detection
Janda, Miloš ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is description of neural network based edge detection methods that are substitute for classic methods of detection using edge operators. First chapters generally discussed the issues of image processing, edge detection and neural networks. The objective of the main part is to show process of generating synthetic images, extracting training datasets and discussing variants of suitable topologies of neural networks for purpose of edge detection. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to evaluating and measuring accuracy values of neural network.
The comparison of edge detectors
Dula, Marek ; Loučka, Pavel (referee) ; Procházková, Jana (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis we focus on the comparison of different methods for finding edges and filtering noise in the image. In the introduction, we focus on basic concepts related to the issue. Subsequently, we describe the individual methods of edge detection and noise filtering in the picture. The next part contains software processing of individual methods in Matlab software. Finally, we compare the individual noise filters and edge detectors.
Moving Objects Detection in Video Sequences
Havelka, Jan ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the recognition and detection of moving object and persons in video sequence and in the static image. Designed application uses the combination of background model for movement detection, histograms of oriented gradients method for person recognition and Lucas-Kanade method for object tracking.
Neural Network Based Edge Detection
Jamborová, Soňa ; Grézl, František (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
This work is about suggestion and implementation of the software for detection of edges in images using neurons network. It defines basic terms for this topic and focusing mainly at preperation imaging imformation for detection using nerons network. Describing and comparing different aproachings for using implemented software on synthetic and real set of images,  including experiments.
Automatic Detection, Localization and Extraction of Human Eye Iris
Pánik, Matúš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to design and implementation of detector, localizator and extractor of features contained in human iris. In introduction there is a brief explanation of anatomical structure of eye as an optical organ providing a vision and there is also a summary of testing databases with a brief description of their key attributes. Furthermore, the thesis deals with theoretical analysis of the most used algorithms intended for processing images in biometric systems. The description of our own implementation follows as well as a summary of measurement we have gathered for each test database and its comparison with other commercially available variants. In the end there is a brief summary and proposal for the future improvements of the system.
Hough Transform and its Variants
Stejskal, Jan ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis focuses on basic principles of Hough transform for the detection of lines, circles and arbitrary shapes, their algorithms, computational complexity and preparation of a picture for detection. The description of implementation of individual algorithms and creation of an aplication that demonstrates their properties. Implementation has been done in programming language MS Visual C++ with the help of open source library OpenCV and user interface has been created using IDE Qt Creator 4.13.2 (Community).
Gaussian filters with rotating kernel
Vintr, Tomáš ; Martišek, Dalibor (referee) ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to create Gaussian 1D filters with rotating kernel theory which enables to program algorithm for noise reduction and beam structure highlighting in a digital picture of the solar corona.
Image filtration effect on quality of subtractive angiography-based CT brain images of blood-vessels
Šipula, Samuel ; Nohel, Michal (referee) ; Chmelík, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design filtering methods for the resulting quality of digital subtraction angiography. The role of filtration in this case is to suppress noise and strong structures to enhance vessel anatomy. Real patient data obtained using a computed tomography system are available for this purpose. In this work, the emphasis is mainly on noise suppression. Individual filtration techniques were implemented in MATLAB. The work further acquaints the reader with the theory of vascular supply to the brain, its imaging methods and the description of filters as discrete operators.
Canny's Operator and Other Useful Edge Detectors
Janda, Miloš ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Venera, Jiří (advisor)
This work introduces main approaches for digital image processing and defines fundamental terms for successful understanding. Main aim is description of several suitable methods used in digital image pre-processing, methods for edge detection and consequent post-processing of these. The final goal of this work is effective implementation and complex comparison of methods for edge detection.
Neural Network Based Image Segmentation
Jamborová, Soňa ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This work is about suggestion of the software for neural network based image segmentation. It defines basic terms for this topics. It is focusing mainly at preperation imaging information for image segmentation using neural network. It describes and compares different aproaches for image segmentation.
